Scratch, Handicap and Bronze Interclub Trophies

Scratch

This shall be competed for by a team of four players per club to be named on the day of the competition.

Teams must be registered 30 minutes prior to their first tee time. Once named, the team may not be altered.

Handicap limit: Each team MUST include two players with a Handicap Index 9.4 or less. The other 2 players must be Handicap Index 18.0 or less. 

Play shall consist of a maximum of 18 holes stroke play. The three best gross scores in each team to count and the fourth score to be disregarded.

The Trophy will be held for one year. In the event of a tie, the Clubs concerned will share the Trophy. Club Captains should agree the period for which the Trophy will be held by each between themselves.

Handicap

This shall be competed for by a team of four players per club to be named on the day of the competition.

Handicap limit: Maximum Handicap Index 24.0 Players with a Handicap Index higher than 24.0 are NOT eligible for this competition.

A qualifying round shall be played in each Division of the County. The two best team scores and any ties at each Qualifying round shall qualify for the Finals.

Bronze

This shall be competed for by a team of four players per club to be named on the day of the competition.

Handicap limit: Minimum Handicap Index 21.0, maximum Handicap Index 40.0 Players outside this range are NOT eligible for this competition.

Play shall consist of a maximum of 18 holes Stableford, off handicap. The three best scores in each team to count and the fourth score to be disregarded.

A qualifying round shall be played in each Division of the County. The two best team scores and any ties at each Qualifying round shall qualify for the Finals.

The Trophy will be held for one year. In the event of a tie, the Clubs concerned will share the Trophy. Club Captains should agree the period for which the Trophy will be held by each between themselves.
