Lancashire B Team v Yorkshire B

Sunday saw the B team rolling up to Selby Golf Club for the annual match against Yorkshire. The course looked fabulous, if a little tight, (perhaps with too many trees!), and the weather was glorious. We had an excellent morning, winning 3 of the 4 foursomes matches, and after sandwiches and chips were ready to head back out for the singles. Whilst the team put up a great effort, against a very strong Yorkshire team, we lost the singles 6 to 2. Sadly not quite enough to give us victory overall. Despite this we were treated to some excellent golf from both teams and the Lancashire players were certainly a credit to he County. We will look forward to reversing the result next year.
