County Captain 2023

We are delighted to announce that Mrs Agnes King from Rossendale Golf Club, has accepted the invitation to be Lancashire Ladies’ County Captain Nov 2022/2023. 

Agnes has been involved in golf since 1997, and has been a supporter and organiser for her club, Bury & District Golf Association and Lancashire Ladies’ for over 20 years.

Agnes was Ladies’ Captain at her golf club in 2005, and is currently the Ladies’ secretary, and has been since 2009. Before this, she was the golf club’s competitions secretary for over 7 years, and running alongside all of this,  Agnes is currently Lady President of her golf club until 2022.  Agnes is also Captain of Bury & District Golf Association for 2020/2021.

Whilst volunteering for Lancashire Ladies’, Agnes worked as an East Divisional Shield Rep for 8 years, from 2006-2014.
