St CloudSophie Lamb secures win for England U21 v Francefrance

Clitheroe's Sophie Lamb representing England Under 21 Ladies' came back from 1 down with 3 to play at St Cloud GC, Paris, to win on the last green, to give the team a 4 matches to 3 win over France in a warm-up match before the French Junior Ladies' Championship starts tomorrow. Playing in the last game she birdied the difficult 18th to secure the vital point.

Annual Professionals, Ladies and Girls team competition SAOL
The 2015 team competition was played at St Annes Old Links GC starting in cold blustery conditions before the sun came out. The winning team was John Twissell, Emily Byrne (Formby Ladies') and Boh Greenwood (Rossendale) with 81 stableford points. They were closely followed by Lee Collinson, Carina-May Teirney (Crompton & Royton) and Emily James (Rossendale) with 79 points.

England Golf North West Training Squad v LLCGA

FormbyA young Lancashire team took on the girls from Lancashire and Cheshire who currently receive England Golf NW Training in an 18 holes Singles Match at Formby Ladies' GC. Louisa Brunt (Royal Birkdale) got the England Girls off to a winning start. This continued with their strong team winning by 4.5 matches to 1.5.
Alex Forrest (Longridge) and Sophie Speariett from the home club won the points for the Lancashire team. Results ...

Failure to pay will result in your ineligibility to enter County competitions, including Interclub and Shield. I would also remind you that failure to affiliate to the County means that you will not have a valid CONGU handicap and will be ineligible to play in qualifying competitions. Lancashire County Card 2015

The Lancashire Golf County Card is now available free of charge to all members of affiliated clubs within Lancashire. The card is valid at more than 70 clubs in Lancashire and over 1,300 clubs across England. The card entitles the holder to discounted golf, strictly subject to the terms laid down by the individual participating club. Read more on Lancashire Union website 

County Match Week Draw 2015


County Match Week 2015 will be played at Sandiway Golf Club, Cheshire from 22-26 June. Lancashire's first day opponents will be Cumbria. Full Draw ...
